Effective Date: October 1, 2026 (supersedes all prior versions)
By enrolling in service with Gibson Family Cleaning LLC, doing business as Tidy Tails Pet Waste Removal (“Tidy Tails,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Billing & Payment
Monthly Billing
Recurring services are billed on the 1st of each month, before service, and all service is prepaid.
Your monthly rate is your weekly rate times 52 weeks, divided by 12 months, so it stays flat no matter how many service days fall in a given month.
Biweekly Rate Calculation
Biweekly works the same way: 26 visits a year, averaged evenly across 12 monthly payments, so your charge stays the same whether a given month has two visits or three.
Quarterly Billing
Prefer to pay less often? Opt into quarterly billing and save 10% off your rate. Quarterly invoices cover three months paid in advance and can start on any date.
Switch between monthly and quarterly anytime by contacting us; changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
If you cancel partway through a prepaid quarter, the unused portion becomes service credit rather than a refund.
All recurring clients must maintain a valid credit or debit card on file.
Mid-Month Signup & Proration
Your first month is prorated: you’re only charged for the visits remaining from your start date through the end of the month, at your per-visit rate.
We charge the full prorated amount above before your second visit, since your first is the free initial cleanup.
After that, billing runs on the 1st of every month.
Once a bill runs, it’s final: changes or cancellations apply to the next cycle.
Initial Cleanups
Depending on yard condition, an initial cleanup may be required before recurring service starts. This fee is due before or on the day of service.
When a complimentary initial cleanup is offered with recurring service, it covers up to 30 minutes of work. Heavily neglected yards may need extra time or more than one visit. If we expect that, we’ll quote the extra cost before starting, so you decide whether to go ahead. We reserve the right to charge beyond the included 30 minutes, but never without quoting you first.
Promotional offers, including free initial cleanups, apply only to qualifying recurring accounts, one per household unless we say otherwise.
2. Payment Requirements
A valid card must be on file before service.
If a payment is declined, we’ll notify you and give you 7 days to update it. After that, service pauses until it’s resolved.
We may pause or remove your account from the schedule if payment isn’t received.
Services already billed for the month are non-refundable.
3. Scheduling & Service Window
We run on optimized route scheduling.
Your service day stays generally consistent week to week.
We can’t guarantee an exact arrival time.
Routes run roughly 7:30 AM to sunset.
You’ll get an “On the Way” text 30-60 minutes before we arrive.
You don’t need to be home for service.
We may adjust service days for operational needs, holidays, weather, or route optimization.
4. Service Interruptions & Missed Visits
Because billing is flat and monthly, missed or skipped visits don’t qualify for a refund or proration. This includes, but isn’t limited to:
Locked or inaccessible gates
Aggressive or unsecured pets
Client-requested pauses
Weather conditions
Holiday scheduling
Access obstructions
HOA or community restrictions
We’ll pick back up at your next scheduled visit. If we skip a visit for our own operational reasons, we may provide a make-up visit at our discretion.
For extended seasonal breaks, see Section 14: Seasonal Pause.
5. Access & Safety Requirements
You’re responsible for:
Providing safe and clear access to the yard
Keeping gates and latches functional and unlocked
Securing aggressive or unsafe pets
Keeping yard conditions that allow us to see the waste
We don’t climb fences. If we can’t safely access or complete the yard, that visit is skipped and billed as scheduled.
Dogs & Service
Dogs may stay outside during service if they’re friendly and non-aggressive.
Let us know if a dog has any history of aggressive behavior. On service day, confirm your dog is inside before we enter the yard, we’ll call or text, and knock if needed, before going in. No response means the visit is skipped and billed as scheduled.
6. Pet & Yard Conditions
We remove solid pet waste only. We don’t service:
Excessive mud or hazardous conditions
Waste indicating severe illness (at our discretion)
Areas with unsafe debris or construction hazards
For effective service, grass should be kept at a reasonable height and the yard must be visible and safely walkable. Service may be paused if conditions prevent a proper cleanup, and we will let you know if that happens.
Fall & Leaf Coverage
Heavy leaf coverage can hide waste from view, especially in the fall. We don’t scoop, what we can’t see.
We remove all visible waste to the best of our ability.
We do not dig through leaves to search for hidden waste.
A complete cleanup cannot be guaranteed during heavy leaf conditions.
Removing excess leaves before your visit helps us do a more thorough job.
Let us know before your next billing cycle if your number of pets changes. Your rate may adjust accordingly.
7. Deodorizer Treatments
Recurring clients get a monthly deodorizer treatment free, for yards up to 1/2 acre. Larger yards may carry an added charge.
Deodorizer comes with recurring service only, not as a standalone or one-time service.
Applied once a month, not every visit.
We may need access to an outdoor water spigot to apply it.
If rain’s expected that day, we may postpone treatment to your next visit.
It’s meant to reduce odor and support cleanliness, not a substitute for regular waste removal.
8. Waste Disposal
We double-bag waste and place it in your trash bin, or wherever else you designate. We don’t haul waste offsite unless we’ve arranged that separately.
9. Holidays & Weather
If your scheduled service falls on a major holiday or severe weather event:
Service may be rescheduled to the next route cycle.
No refunds or proration apply.
Accumulated waste is addressed at the next visit.
We’ll let you know about any weather delays.
10. Equipment Sanitation
We sanitize tools and footwear between properties with a kennel-grade disinfectant, to reduce cross-contamination. This happens on every visit, included at no extra charge.
Sanitation and the monthly deodorizer treatment reduce odor and cross-contamination risk. Neither is a veterinary or medical treatment, and neither should be relied on as one.
Let us know about any illness or health concerns involving your dog.
11. Pricing Adjustments
Your price may change based on:
We’ll notify you before any price change takes effect.
12. Commercial Services
Commercial waste station installation, maintenance, and management are governed by separate service agreements where applicable.
13. Cancellations
Cancel recurring service anytime through the client portal, or by calling or texting us. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fee.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel at least 24 hours before the 1st of the month.
No refunds for partial months.
Service continues through the end of the prepaid billing period.
We reserve the right to terminate service at any time.
Planning to return? Consider a Seasonal Pause (Section 14) instead, paused accounts keep their route day and rate.
14. Seasonal Pause
Want to stop service for the colder months? Pause instead of canceling:
Request a pause at least 24 hours before the 1st of the month to avoid the next charge.
No new invoices while paused.
Your route day and rate are held until you resume.
Restarting after a pause may need extra time for accumulation; we’ll quote the restart cleanup before regular service resumes.
Paused accounts keep their standing. Canceled accounts that return later are treated as new signups, at then-current pricing and promotions.
15. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work.
16. Service Notifications & Photos
To keep things transparent:
You may receive service completion notifications.
Gate photos may confirm secure closure.
Optional yard photos may support quality assurance.
Photos will never include sensitive or personal information.
17. Liability
We’re a licensed business. We’re not liable for:
Pre-existing property damage
Hidden objects in the yard, including toys, tools and debris
Fence, gate, or latch malfunctions
Damage caused by normal yard conditions
Pet injury or escape due to defective fencing
Pet-related incidents resulting from unsecured pets
